Photo of Planning information

Polden Planning (planning consultant) and MJL Holdings (developer) recently attended Ashill Parish Council’s meeting where residents and Councillors asked if a design workshop could be arranged to allow the community to be involved in shaping any future proposals for residential development at Windmill Hill.

No planning application has been submitted and no position has been taken by Ashill Parish Council on any future proposal.

Pre-application advice has been sought from Somerset Council and a full copy can be provided on request from Polden Planning (details below).

Polden Planning would like up to 20 local volunteers to attend a design workshop with Polden Planning, MJL Holdings and PMR Architects on Friday 24th April 2026  from 7pm – 9pm at Ashill Village Hall.

If you would like to be involved, we would love to hear from you.

Please register your interest no later than Sunday 12th April 2026 using the email address or telephone number below:

Rebecca Randall (Polden Planning) Email: info@poldenplanning.co.uk
Tel: 07850 057 401

Should the level of local interest be significantly greater than 20 volunteers, we will work with Ashill Parish Council to ensure that an event can be planned to include everyone.

Please note that your details will be stored securely by Polden Planning. Details will be shared with the project team and Ashill Parish Council and no other third parties.
