The Anglican Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Ashill is open daily for private contemplation or just to enjoy this beautiful building which has stood at the centre of the village since the 12th century. The Church contains notable stone archways and historic monuments whilst the unique carved shields topping the walls include a Green Man. The yew trees in the churchyard are amongst the oldest in Somerset.

The parish is part of the Isle Valley benefice, within the Diocese of Bath and Wells. Details of services and events can be found by following the link: https://islevalleybenefice.com.
